Dubai based Emirates Airlines has announced it is planning to add further destinations to the limited passenger services it recently reintroduced. The new destinations include Jakarta, Manila Taipei, Chicago, Tunis, Algeria, and Kabul. These are in addition to the current services launched on 6 April to destinations including to London and Frankfurt. Before booking, passengers are advised to check each country's requirements. Flights can be booked at emirates.com.

The increase of flights out of Dubai, has led to Emirates moving its operation at Dubai International Airport (DXB) from terminal 2 to its usually terminal 3.

The in-flight service will be slightly modified, where magazines and other printed material will not be available, and though food and beverage will be offered, how it will served will be modified to limit contact.

Cabin baggage will not be allowed on these flights however the cabin baggage allowance will be added to customers' check-in baggage allowance. Certain carry-on items will allowed in the cabin and will be limited to laptop, handbag, briefcase or baby items.

Passengers will be required ot follow social distancing guidelines during each flight and will be required to wear their own masks when at the airport and on board the aircraft.  Check-in at terminal 3 is advised three hours before departure.

Online check-in and seat selection will not be available and the chauffeur service and lounge is also suspended.

After each journey and upon returning to Dubai, all aircraft will undergo enhanced cleaning and disinfection.
