The online process launched on 5 April to apply for a permit of movement for everyone, has been updated to allow those wishing to walk or cycle for their essential journey.
Earlier the online application only asked to include vehicle details and did not give the option for travelling on foot or by bicycle, however now also gives the option to choose other forms of intended transport.
The permit of movement applies to everyone and is only for picking up essential groceries, medicines and medical essentials, and is not for general walks or cycling.
