Celebrate Emirati Women’s Day With These Inspirational Icons

To mark Emirati Women's Day on 28 August, the open-to-all and free to attend inspirational session ‘Flow Talks Series’ adopts the theme “Women, Icons of Tolerance”. Lead by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and Amna Al Haddad, the UAE’s champion weightlifter and motivational speaker, the panel on Wednesday includes top leading women of substance who will discuss and talk about different aspects of their lives with the audience, and will share their solid perspective towards life paving paths for generations to come. It being a talk session, the audience is welcome to ask any question they deem fit.

The panellists on-board include:

  • Maya Al Hawary, Chairwoman of the board of governors and the director of planning at Dubai Carmel School Maitha Hamad Zayed Al Eisaei, head of the communication department within Strata Manufacturing owned by Mubadala Investment Company PJSC
  • Leila Al Marashi, founder of CADO gifting app, and is an artist, designer, entrepreneur and advocate for women.
  • Eman al Mahmoud, the partnerships and research manager at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa)

The session will run from 12 noon to 2pm at Jumeirah Emirates Towers on 28 August.
