Dubai's skies are set to be all lit up with the colourful bursts of fireworks for Eid Al Adha, after an observatory in Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday, 1 August that the first day of Eid Al Adha will be Sunday,11 August.
More locations for fireworks are expected to be announced over coming days, however the firework show at Festival Bay has been confirmed already.
Visitors can watch the spectacular fireworks on Sunday, 11 August and Monday, 12 August alongside the Eid Special IMAGINE, the incredible water, lights and laser show. Even though the IMAGINE show takes place every day at Dubai Festival City, visitors can watch this specially choreographed show on 11 and 12 August at 8pm and 10pm on both days,
The fireworks display and IMAGINE are free to watch for everyone.
The public and private sector will get an equal number of holidays beginning on Saturday, 10 August until Tuesday, 13 August. Work will resume on Wednesday, 14 August.
