Former Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley returns to Dubai next month to headline the city’s favorite food & drink festival, Taste of Dubai.
On Thursday, 7 March, the British pop icon will take to the stage, kick starting the annual food festival at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, with a list of songs that topped the charts back in 80’s, including True, Gold and Only When You Leave.
It is not Hadley’s first time in the UAE, as he returns after a successful performance at ‘Taste of Abu Dhabi’ last year, where he also headlined on the opening night.
Other popular bands and artists to join the entertainment stage from 7-9 March are 4TheMusic, Italian eight-piece jazz band Mark Zitti and the Fratelli Coltelli and Stephanie Goudie. The food festival will come to a close with an electric performance by local talent DJ Sheps.
Now in its 12th season, Taste of Dubai brings top chefs, restaurants and foodies together to revel in an ultimate foodie heaven in the sunshine with music and entertainment to add to the festival atmosphere.
