It looks like another legendary hotspot will be closing its doors. El Chiringuito Dubai will bid the city a farewell as it closes for good at its beachside location.
A statement was issued earlier this week stating, “El Chiringuito and The Crystal Group have made the difficult decision to terminate their franchise agreement effective immediately. We take this opportunity to thank our entire team: without you, there’d have been no magic,”
“El Chiringuito Ibiza will be seeing you all sometime soon – until then, we thank you, our loyal guests, for your constant support and understanding of what was not an easy decision. With gratitude always,” the statement continued.
El Chiringuito joins a number of venues that have closed this year, including Hakkasan and Mahiki who announced their decisions earlier this year, though Hakkasan has since announced it will reopen at Atlantis The Palm later this year, before relocating to the new Royal Atlantis in 2019. El Chiringuito replaced Eden Beach Club in 2016.
