AccorHotels has announced the rebranding and massive conversion of a former Sheikh Zayed Road landmark into the Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments. The new 1,015 room hotel will be the largest Mercure property in the French hotel group’s portfolio. Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites & Apartments is set to open on 19th May 2017. The two-phase comprehensive refurbishment will promote the hotel from a four-star ranking into five stars in the form of hotel suites. The hotel will feature a mix of hotel suites, an all-day dining restaurant, two speciality restaurants, lobby lounge, health club, spa and swimming pool. In the UAE, AccorHotels has 38 properties with 22 new properties under development.
