International Olympic Committee (IOC) has said Lima's fate as the location for a meeting that will choose the 2024 Olympic Games hosts is expected to be decided this Wednesday. The meeting will choose the 2024 Olympic Games Hosts between Paris and Los Angeles. The IOC has looked for possible alternatives to the flood-hit Peruvian capital for September’s vote that includes Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha. Parts of Lima has been hit by flash floods and landslides last month as the Peruvian authorities face difficulties to host the crucial IOC congress on 13th September to decide the winner.
