Motorists travelling to Dubai Harbour will soon benefit from faster journeys as a major new bridge project enters its final stages.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed that the bridge connecting Sheikh Zayed Road with Dubai Harbour is now 90% complete and scheduled to open later this month.
Once operational, the route will significantly improve traffic flow for drivers travelling from both Deira and Jebel Ali towards Dubai Harbour, reducing journey times from around 12 minutes to only three minutes.
A second phase is expected to open next month, providing direct access from Dubai Harbour to Al Naseem Street, as well as a new connection to the intersection of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street and Al Naseem Street.
The project forms part of Dubai's wider efforts to improve road infrastructure and ease congestion in key areas across the emirate.
