Dubai Announces Eid Al Fitr Holidays For Private Schools And Universities

As Eid Al Fitr approaches, private schools, universities, and nurseries in Dubai have been granted holidays to observe the occasion, as confirmed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority. 

The authority has confirmed that all private schools, universities and nurseries in Dubai will be closed from Monday, 8 April to Sunday, 14 April. With two Saturday-Sunday weekends falling on 6 and 7 April and 13 and 14 April, students and faculty members will have a nine-day break, allowing ample time for relaxation and festive celebrations.

All private schools, universities and nurseries in Dubai will be closed from Monday, April 8 to Sunday, April 14. Regular working hours will resume from Monday, April 15. We wish you all an enjoyable Eid break.

Private And Public Sector Employee Holidays In The UAE 

The UAE Cabinet has declared that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the federal public sector will begin on Monday, 8 April, and extend for one week, and regular working hours will resume on Monday, 15 April. 

For private sector employees, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has confirmed holiday from 29 Ramadan, which falls on Monday 8 April, 2024, until the 3rd Shawwal, which will either fall on Thursday 11 April or Friday 12 April.
