Abu Dhabi's Big Ticket prize draw has announced a 'temporary pause in operations' effective immediately, in accordance with the UAE Gaming Regulatory Authority. This decision, confirmed via the company's website and social media platforms, follows similar actions taken by Mahzooz and Emirates Draw, both of which suspended their services in January 2024.
Big Ticket took to its social media and website to issue this update and said, "In accordance with regulatory gaming requirements, Big Ticket will be temporarily pausing operations starting 1 April, 2024. Rest assured, all previously won prizes are securely protected and guaranteed. As we adhere to regulatory protocols, we will communicate updates through official channels in due course. We anticipate a prompt return to operations."
So What About The Big Ticket Live Draw Series 262
The company has confirmed that the Big Ticket live draw series 262 will still take place on 3 April 2024 at 2.30pm. This includes the Dream Car draw for Maserati Ghibli and Range Rover Evoque, which was supposed to be held on 3 May 2024.
What Changes Can Big Ticket Customers Expect?
Starting 1 April 2024, Big Ticket sales will undergo suspension until further notice. During this period, certain website functions, including ticket purchases, account login, and registration, will be disabled temporarily. However, customers will still have access to news and information on past draws via the website and social media platforms. Additionally, both Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport stores will be temporarily shut. Customers will regain full access to their Big Ticket accounts once operations resume.
