The October issue of Connector is out now and, like every October issue, it is a special issue for us as it is our birthday month. This lovely little A5 magazine that people tell us they enjoy and find useful is 28 years old this month and pulling it all together has been as enjoyable as all the other 336 issues before it. There’s a lot in the issue, including a little feature we have done of just some of the things that we have seen come up in Dubai over the last 28 years. From the Middle East’s first Carrefour to the Middle East’s first multi-purpose indoor arena, Coca-Cola Arena.
A lot has changed over the 28 years, and Dubai is unrecognisable to what it was in 1991 and Connector has changed as well. Though we are still the A5 magazine we first were in October 1991, we are now also this regular eNewsletter as well as a full content website with lots more than ever before.
