Dubai is never short of new and amazing concepts. Now, it has come up with yet another new and creative outlett where in you can book your slot to have a coffee or a drink off the ground and some 40 metres high in the sky. The new café has been named Flying Cup and is located in JBR, next to Roxy Cinemas. The Flying Cup is definitely a new place to experience in Dubai.
The journey begins on the ground where you are fastened in your seat in the Flying Cup which accommodates 16 people at a round table. The cup then slowly starts to rise high in the sky and moves until it reaches 40 metres high.
The cup has no platform, so your feet would be dangling in the sky giving you a flavour of real dine-in-the-sky experience. The ticket price is Dhs 80 per adult and Dhs 40 per child and it includes a coffee or a soft drink. The total experience last 15-20 minutes and the Flying Cup is open from 10am and goes until midnight on weekdays and 1am on weekends.
The Flying Cup surely guarantees breath-taking views from JBR towards Blue Water Islands and Ain Dubai on the one side and Palm Jumeirah on the other.
