Sunday Night Comedy: This Is Impro

'This is Impro' is an evening of scenes, stories and narrative improvisation, where topics are given by the audience in real time and the experienced performers weave an interesting story from those topics on the spot, creating a hilarious and fun evening for attendees. Entry is free.

Screening: Maria By Callas: In her Own Words

For the first time 40 years after her death, the most famous opera singer ever tells her own story - in her own words. Featuring previously unknown footage, unseen photographs, personal Super 8 films, private live recordings, intimate letters and rare behind-the-scenes archival footage for the first time in colour. Laugh Your Tail Off Stand-up Comedy

Momolaughs is organising a comic night with leading comedians from across the Middle East, all under one roof promising a roller coaster ride of laughter and unbridled laughs. Entry is free but registration is a must.

Free Mum and Baby Clinic 

This free workshop is calling new mums in Dubai Marina with children from 0 - 6 months. King's College Hospital London's Marina Medical Centre is hosting Mum and Baby clinic, encouraging new mums to come with a list of questions that they would like to discuss with the team of qualified nurses and midwives. Medical staff will be on hand to share tips on weaning, sleeping patterns, colic babies and breastfeeding. Entry is free and registration is a must. Email

Nouvelle Vague

Parisian new wave band ‘Nouvelle Vague’ is in Dubai for a one off performance this week.  Led by Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux, ‘Nouvelle Vague’ released their first album in 2004, with renditions of Punk and New Wave hits reinterpreted by female singers in the dreamy style of 50's and 60's Bossa Nova. After five studio albums and many extensive global tours, 'Nouvelle Vague' are now celebrating their fifteenth anniversary with an international unplugged tour in 2019 keeping with the band’s original 2004 format: an acoustic guitar, a few keyboards, a smattering of ambience, and two singers Mélanie Pain and Elodie Frégé performing the band’s iconic songs. ABBA Reunion

QE2 is set to host ABBA Reunion, the creation of the director, producer and choreographer of the Award Winning ABBA Mania musical. ABBA Reunion gives ABBA fans, old and new, the opportunity to once again get together and re-live the addictive ABBA phenomena that swept the airwaves and discos during the 70’s and 80’s in a truly feel good party style tribute concert.
