Animal lovers can now adopt a pet for a year at the tropical rainforest biodome, The Green Planet, home to over 3,000 plants and animals.
People can adopt Lemon the Sloth, Kendrick the Lemur, Amal the Slow Loris, Goldie the blue and gold Macaw and Coco the Toco Toucan.
The initiative will help in the conservation and preservation of animal welfare.
The tiers for adoption are gold, silver and bronze, with the gold package, priced at Dhs 699, including an adoption certificate, a letter about the animal, a keychain, two single-use general admission tickets with one-year validity, recycled and reusable bag, quarterly updates on the animal with a photo, a stuffed plush toy and an exclusive 30-minute behind-the-scenes tour at the biodome.
Priced at Dhs 499, the silver package includes an adoption certificate, a letter about the adopted animal, a keychain, two single-use general admission tickets with one-year validity, recycled and reusable bag, quarterly updates on the animal with a photo and stuffed plush toy.
The bronze package priced at Dhs 299 includes an adoption certificate, a letter about the animal, a keychain, a single-use general admission ticket with one-year validity and recycled and reusable bag.
