Change In Public Transport And Parking Timings For Ramadan

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the change in public transport timings during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Both Red and Green Lines on the Dubai Metro will operate from 5am to midnight from Monday to Thursday, from 5am to 1am on Friday, on Saturday from 5am to midnight and on Sunday from 9am to 1am.

The Dubai Tram will run from 6am to 1am from Monday to Saturday and on Sunday from 9am to 1am.

Public buses will operate from 6am to 1am.

Additionally, during the Holy Month, there will be a change in the timings for paid parking fees.

From Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 6pm and then from 8pm to midnight, parking fees will be available.

No parking charges are applicable on Sunday.

Multi-level parking zones will continue to operate on a 24-hour basis.

The Holy Month of Ramadan will begin on Thursday, 23 March and will be observed for 29 to 30 days, as announced by the Moon Sighting Committee in the UAE.
