Sharjah Police have announced that discounts of 50% are available on traffic fines till 31 March.
All fines, apart from serious offences, received before 31 March can be paid at a discounted price.
Vehicles being impounded and black points received will also be cancelled till 31 March.
Earlier in the week, the Emirate also announced a new traffic fine scheme, when on paying within 60 days of the traffic fine being received, the driver will get a 35% discount.
The new scheme will come into effect on 1 April.
If paid within 60 days, vehicles can be prevented from getting impounded.
Drivers that pay their fines within the year will get a 25% discount, with fees for vehicle impounding paid in full.
