The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has increased the Base Rate applicable to the Overnight Deposit Facility (ODF) by 50 basis points.
Having already come into effect, the base rate has increased from 3.9% to 4.4%.
The initiative was taken following the US Federal Reserve Board's decision to increase the Interest on Reserve Balances (IORB) by 50 basis points.
