The Great Arab Minds initiative is on the search for exceptional talents among Arab scientists, thinkers, and innovators in the UAE.
Launched in January 2022 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the initiative is one of the largest in the Arab world.
Through the initiative, great thinkers will be identified, supported and acknowledged and will also reduce the emigration of Arab scientists, specialists, intellectuals, doctors, and engineers.
Over 5 years, the initiative will reward scientists, thought leaders, scholars and innovators across 6 categories, Natural Sciences (Physics and Chemistry), Medicine, Literature and Arts, Economics, Technology and Engineering, and Architecture and Design.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Great Arab Minds will be awarded to 6 winners of six categories each year.
Additionally, the initiative has signed four partnerships with KPMG, LinkedIn, Meta and Majarra.
