A new initiative has been launched to provide families and workers in need with free bread at different times during the day.
Announced by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy (MBRGCEC), under the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF), the Bread For All initiative will give out bread through smart machines at several outlets.
The machines have been pre-programmed to hand out bread for free and the individual can receive it by pressing the 'order' button.
The smart machines will be located in supermarkets at Al Mizhar, Al Warqa’a, Mirdif, Nad Al Sheba, Nadd Al Hamar, Al Qouz and Al Bada’a.
The initiative is funded by donations and individuals can donate directly to the machines, through the Dubai Now App or via SMS to 3656 for Dhs 10, 3658 for Dhs 50, 3659 for Dhs 100 or 3679 for Dhs 500.
Additionally, donations can be made via the MBRGCEC website.
