A small civil aircraft crashed into the outdoor parking at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
The plane crashed in an unpopulated area due to technical malfunctions on its way to Al Bateen Executive Airport.
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) mentioned that the pilot was injured and rushed to the hospital for necessary treatment and monitoring.
Further investigations will be carried out for the causes and consequences of the incident.
