Abu Dhabi's Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has announced changes to the timings of paid parking and road tolls in Abu Dhabi.
Paid public parking and the "Darb" Toll Gate System fees will apply from Monday to Saturday, and will now be free on Sundays as well as public holidays. Previously parking charges and "Darb" did not apply on Fridays.
This change will come into effect from 15 July 2022.
The change enhances the streamlining and mobility of traffic during weekday peak hours, facilitates traffic flow, and improves safety levels on the emirate’s roads.
