Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority has launched a new whistleblowing platform.
The Wajib platform will allow individuals to make confidential reports of financial and administrative corruption.
People that witness unlawful or damaging practices that undermine the integrity of the government, employees, customers and suppliers of or to government-related entities in Abu Dhabi can submit reports.
All information collected will be private and confidential as well as the identity of the person filing the report.
After the report is filed, the individual will be contacted to verify details and will be sent a code via the registered mobile number.
The initiative aims to enhance transparency, integrity and accountability within all financial and administrative interactions to protect the nation and employees from any form of corruption.
