The 1 Billion Meals initiative has added a new method to donate towards the cause aimed at providing food to underprivileged people from 50 different countries.
The 'Tap To Donate' method uses interactive smart screens and allows donations through Visa or MasterCard bank cards or via Apple Pay or Google Pay on smartphones and smartwatches.
25 screens have been placed at three Majid Al Futtaim malls, City Centre Mirdif and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai and in Sharjah at City Centre Al Zahia.
Shoppers can donate Dhs 10, Dhs 50 and Dhs 100 through the interactive screens.
