Khalifa University To Launch Online Courses

Khalifa University along with Coursera, an online learning platform, will launch six courses.

The university will launch the specialisation courses on Coursera during the second half of 2022.

The courses will include Machine Learning and Deep Learning Methods: From Data to Decisions, Artificial Intelligence for Executives, Introduction to Digital Design FPGA Based Training as well as targeted courses including Arabic for Beginners and Online Course Development Processes.

The courses will be available around the world and individuals will be able to hone their skills through the specialisation course.

Currently, over 5.5 million learners in the Middle East use Coursera with around 2,000 courses available in Arabic.

Dr Ahmed Al Shoaibi, Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Services at Khalifa University said, "We are excited to join forces with Coursera to equip learners in the region, and beyond, with the essential digital skills they need to contribute to the accelerating knowledge economy."
