Air India To Divert Its Flights To And From Dubai

India’s National Airline, Air India and its low-budget airline Air India Express will divert some of their flights that go to and from Dubai, to Sharjah International Airport. The announcement has been made to accommodate flights during the southern runway closure of Dubai International Airport (DXB) for 45 days from 16 April to 30 May.

The flights affected that will operate through Sharjah International Airport, include:

Air India:

  • Direct flights each day between Mumbai (AI 983)
  • Direct flights each day between Chennai (AI 906)
  • Daily flights on the route Visakhapatnam/Hyderabad/Dubai/Hyderabad/Visakhapatnam (AI 951/952)
  • Thursday and Sunday flights on the route Bengaluru/Goa/Dubai/Goa/Bengaluru (AI 993/994)

Air India Express:

  • Daily flights between Mangalore (IX 813/814 and IX 383/384)
  • Sunday flight between Delhi (IX 141/142 )
  • Sunday flight between Kochi (IX 435/434)
