Dubai Police Add New Luxury Electric Vehicle To Their Fleet

Dubai Police, in cooperation with Performance Plus Motors, have added the luxury VOYAH FREE extended range electric vehicle to their patrol fleet. The move supports Dubai Police's efforts to support sustainable transport.

Major General Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, officially unveiled the new patrol vehicle at the department’s headquarters.

The VOYAH FREE is powered primarily by an electric motor and supported by an additional fuel-powered generator that produces energy to extend driving range. This modern system is known Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology, helps the vehicle run for longer without the need for frequent charging.

The vehicle delivers a combined driving range of up to 1,357 kilometres and operates mainly on electric power. The vehicle also delivers a total output of 360 kilowatt, equivalent to 483 horsepower, and 720 Newton metres of torque and can go from 0 to 100kph in just 4.5 seconds.

It also comes with an all-wheel drive system and adjustable air suspension, allowing it to handle different road conditions across the emirate.

Inside, the vehicle features a fully integrated triple screen cabin that delivers a next generation experience for both drivers and passengers. The luggage compartment offers generous capacity ranging from 560 to 1,320 litres, ensuring practicality for everyday use.

Through the introduction of electric vehicles into their patrol fleet, Dubai Police aim to adopt environmentally friendly transport solutions while enhancing police presence across Dubai.
