His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reviewed Dubai’s Dhs 3 billion beach development plan.
The beach development is part of the country's program to make Dubai the best city to live in the world by 2040 .
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed said that the project aims to increase the capacity of Dubai's beaches by 170%, as part of a broader long-term development agenda.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed further added that work has begun in full swing, with teams continuing to deliver projects without slowdown. As part of the development, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed visited the Mumzar Beach Project, which is nearing completion. Once completed, the beach is set to become a major family destination capable of accommodating up to 7 million visitors annually across an area of 4 million square feet.
