Limited flight operations have resumed at Zayed International Airport (AUH) following a period of disruption, in coordination with the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Center – Abu Dhabi (ADCMC).

Over the past few days, extensive efforts were carried out under strict safety protocols and close cross-sector coordination to manage the situation effectively. Authorities across the emirate collaborated to ensure that passengers affected by schedule changes received the necessary support during the disruption.

As part of these efforts, more than 4,300 complimentary hotel rooms across 74 hotels were provided to accommodate approximately 7,000 passengers. This initiative ensured that travellers impacted by the disruption were able to stay comfortably while awaiting updates on their travel arrangements.

In addition to accommodation, a wide range of support services, such as shuttle buses, refreshments, hospitality assistance, medical care, and retail vouchers, were also provided to all stranded passengers.

Abu Dhabi Airports emphasised that the well-being of guests and staff remains its top priority as operations gradually resume. Passengers holding confirmed tickets are advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight schedules and to travel to the airport only after receiving guidance from their airline on when to arrive for departure from AUH.
