The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has called on private sector companies across the UAE to implement remote work for three days, from Sunday, 1 March, to Tuesday, 3 March. The move is a precautionary measure to safeguard employee safety amid current developments in the country.
MoHRE has asked all private sector establishments to adopt remote work wherever possible and also recommended that workers avoid open areas. However, exception includes necessary roles that require physical attendance.
The Ministry added that the decision to 'suspend work or otherwise' is up to the competent local authorities in accordance with the ongoing developments in the country.
