The Ramadan Souq, within Deira Grand Souk, welcomed a whopping 1.82 million visitors. The event recorded a growth of 12.4%, attracting more than 200,000 additional visitors compared with the 2025 season.

Participants, including traditional souk shops, traders, entrepreneurs, and People of Determination, reported a 35% jump in sales. Activities like heritage performances, handicraft workshops, and kiosks featuring local products fuelled the boom. In addition, the souq opened in time with the 'Al Welfa' season, boosting family cohesion and Emirati traditions.

This year's additions included a henna corner, face painting, gypsum and planting workshops, Arabic calligraphy sessions, and a children's play area. These family-friendly features broadened participation across age groups.

The initiative forms part of the Dubai Municipality’s wider efforts to support tourism, entertainment, and commercial activity across Dubai while encouraging engagement with public facilities and historic destinations.
