According to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), Eid Al Fitr holidays for the UAE public sector will begin on Thursday, 19 March, and continue until Sunday, 22 March. Work will then resume on Monday, 23 March.
The private sector will begin their Eid break from Thursday, 19 March, until Saturday, 21 March. The ministry further clarified that if the Holy Month of Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the holiday will extend to Sunday, 22 March, for the private sector. The moon sighting committee will confirm the same on 18 March.
