His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, arrived in Moscow on an official visit to the Russian Federation.
Accompanying His Highness Sheikh Mohamed during the visit is a delegation that includes His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, along with other senior officials.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and Russian President Vladimir Putin, held talks in Moscow to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, technology, space, and energy, which remain key priorities for both countries. They also exchanged perspectives on key regional and international developments.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to promoting peace and stability around the world, also thanked Vladimir Putin for supporting the UAE’s mediation efforts in prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin thanked the UAE for its continued mediation efforts, which have led to successful prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine, and also hosted a lunch in honour of the visiting Emirati delegation.
