The UAE Cabinet has declared that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the federal government sector will begin on Monday, 8 April, and extend for one week. Regular working hours will resume on Monday, 15 April, following the week-long Eid break for public sector employees throughout the UAE.

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has circulated a notice regarding the Eid Al Fitr holiday to all federal entities. Private sector employees can anticipate an announcement shortly.

As the first major public holiday of 2024 approaches, Dubai residents are awaiting confirmation of their days off. However, the exact dates for Eid celebrations will be determined based on the sighting of the moon.
