Dubai Metro Users Can Make Free International Calls From These Metro Stations During Ramadan

RTA

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is introducing a special initiative for expats to connect with their families. As part of the 'We Bring You Closer' campaign, Dubai Metro stations will feature special phone booths allowing commuters to make free international calls. In partnership with Keolis, the operator of Dubai Metro and Tram, telephone booths are installed at Al Ghubaiba, Union, and Jebel Ali Metro stations, facilitating connections with loved ones worldwide throughout Ramadan.

Many expats in Dubai are away from family during Ramadan, making these booths invaluable for fostering bonds and reaching out to loved ones. If you have family outside the UAE, make use of this feature at Dubai's metro stations to stay connected.

In addition, during Ramadan, RTA has established tents as part of their Ramadan Tent Project. The initiative aims to distribute 2,000 Iftar meals to fasting individuals by setting up dedicated tents.
