Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has grown its fleet by acquiring 94 new license plates through an auction by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This addition brings the total number of taxis added in 2024 to 445, expanding DTC's fleet to 5,660 vehicles. This expansion aligns with DTC's strategy to enhance its financial resources for operational and strategic purposes.

The move supports DTC's commitment to providing transport services, focusing on innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability. By increasing its fleet, DTC aims to meet the rising demand for daily trips and improve transportation infrastructure in Dubai. Moreover, this expansion is in line with Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan, which emphasises sustainable and versatile transportation options for residents.

DTC offers various mobility solutions, including taxi services, VIP limousines, buses, and corporate delivery solutions, catering to diverse transportation needs in the Emirate.

Dubai Taxi Corporation's taxis and limousines are widely used for transportation in Dubai. They're available around the clock, every day, including public holidays. To book a taxi, customers can call 80088088 or use DTC's Smart App. DTC offers door-to-door service, and passengers can enjoy free Internet during the ride.

Varied Taxi Services 

Airport taxi service operates at Dubai International Airport, with an initial fare of Dhs 25. DTC also offers ladies' taxis in the morning, noon, and evening, the opening fare is Dhs 6 and after 10pm, it's Dhs 7. Besides this, DTC also offers special needs taxis and the starting fare for this service varies depending on the location and time.
