UAE Weather: Rainfall Expected In Several Parts Of The Country

Today, UAE residents can expect partly cloudy weather with heavy rainfall anticipated in certain regions. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a forecast predicting heavy rainfall in northern, eastern, and coastal areas today, 26 February. These areas include Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Al Ain, and select parts of Abu Dhabi. Additionally, there's a possibility of rain in Jumeirah, Dubai. 

The NCM has also predicted a decrease in temperature. Temperatures will gradually decrease, with maximum temperatures ranging between 25°C to 30°C and minimum temperatures between 10°C to 15°C. Coastal areas will see highs of 22°C to 27°C, while mountainous regions may experience temperatures between 12°C to 18°C. Humidity levels are forecasted to be moderate, ranging from 60% to 85% in coastal areas and 45% to 80% in mountainous regions.

Sea conditions are expected to be moderate to rough, particularly in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

Looking ahead to Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather is expected to remain fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds in eastern regions. Humidity may increase at night and early morning, with a possibility of mist formation in some areas. Winds are anticipated to be light to moderate, and sea conditions are expected to be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

Wednesday may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with scattered rainfall, especially in northern areas. Humidity may persist at night and early Thursday, with a chance of mist formation. Winds are likely to be light to moderate, occasionally fresh, potentially causing blowing dust. Whereas sea conditions are expected to be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
