The Holy Month of Ramadan will coincide with winter in March. While the final dates will depend on moon sightings, the tentative start date is 9 March. And to assist with your shopping needs for the Holy Month, Dubai Municipality has announced the return of its Ramadan souq. This souq is a beloved and age-old tradition in Dubai, celebrating the arrival of Ramadan. It will run until 9 March 2024.

Visitors can visit the souq at the historic Old Municipality Street in Deira, drawing a significant crowd of shoppers seeking personal and household essentials, along with lively commercial activities and food showcases.

As always, the Ramadan souq will attract a wide range of people, including citizens, residents, tourists, and visitors. This event will offer a special shopping experience with great deals. You'll find a mini marketplace with traditional items and gadgets needed for Ramadan preparations. Alongside shopping, the event offers various services, live entertainment shows, and activities for children to enjoy.

The Ramadan souq will be open from 10am to 10pm, providing ample time for visitors to explore. And through this souq, Dubai Municipality aims to preserve the heritage and authenticity of age-old customs linked to preparing for Ramadan.
