Emirates has partnered with VFS Global to streamline the visa process for Indian travellers visiting Dubai. This collaboration introduces a pre-approved visa on arrival facility exclusively for Indian passport holders who have booked their travel with Emirates. To qualify, Indian travellers must possess a valid six-month visa for the USA, USA Green Card, EU Residency, or UK Residency. The issuance of visas remains at the discretion of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs.
This convenient pre-approved visa on arrival is a 14-day single entry visa and is fulfilled by the Dubai Visa Processing Centre (DVPC). The initiative aims to enhance the overall travel experience for Emirates customers, allowing them to bypass queues upon arrival in Dubai. It expedites their entry formalities, enabling a seamless transition through customs before exploring the city.
To avail this service, Emirates customers can book their flights through the airline's website or their preferred travel agent. Upon retrieving their booking via the 'Manage an existing booking' section on the Emirates website, customers can click on the 'apply for a UAE visa' link. It redirects them to the online UAE Visa application site, powered by VFS Global Services, outlining the requirements and terms to facilitate the visa application process.
