Good news for government workers in the UAE! They'll have an extra day off for New Year's on Monday, 1 January 2024.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources shared this on their official Instagram. So, government employees will enjoy a three-day weekend from 30 December to 1 January and resume work on Tuesday, 2 January.
Even though it's not official for everyone else yet, based on past years, private sector employees might also enjoy off on New Year's.
