Christmas has arrived at The Green Planet Dubai, the only indoor tropical rainforest in the Middle East. The festive season is in full swing as the outdoor 'Nature Park' transforms into a magical 'Winter Wonderland' from 6 December 2023 to 7 January 2024.
Begin your adventure at The Green Planet with eco-friendly simulated snowfall inside the biodome and outdoors in the Nature Park. To enhance the holiday spirit, a talented festive choir from the Centre for Musical Arts Glee and Electro Band will enchant guests with a delightful performance of new and traditional Christmas carols on Monday, 11 December, at 4pm.
Celebrate this season by taking your children to Santa's workshop every Friday to Sunday. They can unleash their creativity, decorating Christmas cards with sustainable materials and writing letters to Santa. On 7 January, 2024, Santa will choose one letter and fulfil a child's wish.
For added enjoyment, families and friends can capture moments with Santa, sporting his newly designed green outfit. Santa will be available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11am, noon, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm within the Nature Park. Additionally, the beloved mascots, 'Friends of The Green Planet Dubai', will be present to meet and greet young fans at 11am, noon, 4pm, and 5pm at The Green Planet Dubai's Nature Park.
In line with the UAE's dedication to the 'Year of Sustainability,' The Green Planet Dubai, partnered with GEMS Education, has crafted a unique Christmas Tree using recycled materials in the Nature Park, highlighting the significance of a greener future.
Additionally, the Rainforest’s café offers a variety of festive treats. Indulge in hot chocolate, yule log cake, turkey ham and cheese sandwich, barbecue turkey pizza, slow roast turkey roulade, along with Christmas cookies and pies. You can also enjoy the 'Decorate it Yourself' gingerbread cookie decorating kit for a delightful holiday experience.
