The year 2023 is almost over, and so is our list of days off. UAE residents have just one more long weekend left. If you work from Monday to Friday, you'll enjoy a three-day weekend because of the upcoming UAE National Day next week.
Commemoration Day (formerly known as Martyrs’ Day) falls on Thursday, 30 November, but for the private sector, the public holiday is on Friday, 1 December. The National Day holiday is on Saturday, 2 December, with an extra day off on Sunday, 3 December. Stay tuned for official announcements as the UAE prepares for the festivities during this time.
