The UAE is gradually directing its attention towards sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly elements into upcoming projects and transportation initiatives. Recently, Abu Dhabi Police introduced their newest addition to the fleet, the Rabdan One electric field patrol car. Assembled in the Khalifa Industrial Zone, this made-in-UAE energy-efficient vehicle boasts an impressive pre-recharging range of 860km. Developed in partnership with the local manufacturer NWTN, the vehicle was revealed at the Global Media Congress hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The Rabdan One field patrol is a 'Made in Abu Dhabi' creation, produced in partnership with NWTN, the primary manufacturer of the Rabdan One brand. In terms of its specifications, the Rabdan One is equipped with a 510-kilowatt power station propelled by two turbines, generating an estimated 1,040 newton-metres of torque. It demonstrates impressive acceleration, going from zero to 100kp/h in just 4.5 seconds.

In white and blue, adorned with the signature emblem of Abu Dhabi Police, this five-seater stands out as one of the initial locally manufactured vehicles. It marks a significant stride in the UAE's embrace of electric vehicles, aligning with the national vision aiming for 80% of vehicles on the country's roads to be electric by 2050.
