RTA Maintained Roads Spanning 16.7km During First Half Of 2023

During the first half of 2023, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) completed road maintenance spanning 16.7km around the city.

Over 25 projects were conducted on key roads in Dubai including Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Rebat Street in Nad Al Hamar, Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Street, Al Khail Road, and Al Rasheed Street in Deira, ensuring the quality and safety of roads.

The roads were maintained and repaved, after damages were caused due to a number of different factors including rainfall and general wear.

Nabil Mohammad Saleh, Director of Roads and Facilities Maintenance, Traffic and Roads Agency at RTA said, "While undertaking maintenance, RTA provided the highest levels of traffic safety, ensuring smooth traffic flow and reducing congestion. RTA uses cutting-edge technology and adheres to the highest safety and quality standards when performing these maintenance tasks."
