To support the needs of 50 mosques in Dubai that do not have an endowment or sponsors, Dubai’s Endowments and Minors' Trust Foundation will build a commercial complex in Al Khawaneej, where the revenue generated will be used to cover the expenses.
The complex will be home to 29 shops, a large shopping mall, a medical centre and parking spaces, and on completion, is expected to generate an annual revenue of Dhs 8 million, which will help fund the mosques in Dubai.
The exterior and interior designs of the complex are being worked on, and the final aim of it is to create an endowment for each of the 50 mosques in Dubai.
