The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced the public holiday for Hijri New Year for the private sector.
The holiday will be on Friday, 21 July, and including the weekend on Saturday, 22 July and Sunday, 23 July, most residents will get a three-day long break.
Additionally, the public holiday for the private sector has been announced by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), and will fall on Friday, 21 July, also making it a three-day holiday.
