The Federal Prosecution Office for Combating Rumours and Cybercrime has ordered the detention of an individual for posting a harmful video on social media.
The individual was seen dressed up in Emirati attire at a luxury car showroom, followed by two people carrying large sums of money.
The detained individual was then seen asking the owner of the showroom to buy a car worth Dhs 2 million, in an arrogant manner, portraying the image of citizens in a harmful way.
The owner of the showroom was called upon by the Public Prosecution.
Individuals are advised to follow the regulations in the UAE of content posted on social media.
