When Are The Next Public Holidays In The UAE?

The long six-day break for Eid Al Adha has come to an end, and many people are now already looking forward to the next public holidays in the UAE.

Residents and citizens do not have to wait long for the next holiday. Hijri New Year is expected to fall on Wednesday, 19 July, however, according to the UAE Government, the holiday will given on Friday, 21 July, where most people will enjoy a three-day long break including the weekend.

After that and for the rest of the year, there are still two further public holidays to look forward to. The holiday to mark Prophet Mohammed's birthday (PBUH) will fall on Friday, 29 September, giving most people another three-day long break. In December, the holidays for the UAE National Day will be given on 2 and 3 December, celebrated over the weekend on Saturday, 2 December and Sunday, 3 December.
