His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has announced the release of 988 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha.
The decision aims to encourage values of forgiveness and tolerance in the UAE.
The prisoners to be released will be given the chance to start rebuilding their lives as well as reunite families.
