His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has launched the National Academy for Childhood Development (NACD).
Part of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, the academy will offer education, training and learning programmes for students focused on child development and care.
NACD will also develop the skills of students while providing vocational training.
The academy will also conduct academic and applied research and participate in conferences, seminars and workshops.
Registrations for students will begin this month and will start during the new academic year in September.
